..... Playing at the Homegrown Music Cafe was a special night as my childhood friend Marilyn John and her sister Sue drove all the way down from Saratoga Springs to take in the show. It also marked the first time Dana sang back up for me on "Silver Burning Sky". The song is now not the same without her. What a great Venue and without question one of the best sounding rooms that I have played on Long Island.

........ The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Benefit Concert was a great success and a great night for music. Jacks Waterfall, Miles to Dayton, Jesse Haines Band and Damaged Goods all made me proud to share the evening with them. A special thank you to Fred Bredfry for organizing this important event and for believing that I belonged on stage with such talent.

........ The Bay Street Theatre Songwriters series was a huge success. It was packed so that you couldn't walk in there. Bryan Downey did a great job promoting the event and has invited me back in February to open the show.

........ I often speak about what it was like growing up in Northern Maine. Magical things like the Aurora Borealis, unpolluted star filled skies, Mount Katahdin. I would just like to say how lucky I feel to live on Eastern Long Island which allows me a great balance of the quiet nights and small town feel, while being only a stones throw to the greatest City on earth...NYC. It affords me wonderful culture, a music scene beyond comparison and a great diversity of people who call it home.......... So Lucky me, I get the best of both worlds.
